Course Completion Process/Procedure
Once a student has complete the didactic, psychomotor and clinical portions of the course AND all relevant documents have been received by the Program Director; the following is the procedure for a student to be completed and marked clear for NREMT testing.
1. The Program Director will review all documentation and compile the final student record. This occurs during the first full week of the month and the third week of the month only.
2. The final student record is then sent to the Medical Director for review and approval.
3. Once the Medical Director has approved the student for graduation, he will return the student record to the Program Director for final disposition.
4. All students who have been approved by the Medical Director will be cleared for NREMT testing on the next clearing date.
5. Students will be cleared with NREMT on the next business day following the 1st and the 15th of the month only.
6. Upon being cleared for NREMT testing, the student will be sent an email confirming their eligibility.
7. A course completion packet will be prepared and mailed to the student’s physical address on file. These packets are mailed on the 1st of the month.
Please be aware that this process may take up to 2 weeks from the time the documentation is received to complete.
