CLASS DESCRIPTION

                                                                                      

Thank You for your interest in our Online EMT Basic Class. We are proud to offer one of the most advanced EMT courses available to students. After completion of our Online EMT course you will be welltrained and prepared to deal with all levels of emergency situations that an EMT Basic would encounter in the field of EMS. We also offer easy transition to our EMT Intermediate/Advanced and Paramedic classes.  You will have up to 6 months to complete the Online EMT program. 

 

  NREMT EMT Certification 

Our course is approved by Texas Dept. of State Health Services and will allow graduates of the Online EMT Course to sit for the National Registry of EMT’s Exam. In order to verify that you meet the requirements for EMT Basic certification, there are some prerequisites, click here to view them. In addition there are minimum System Requirements for your computer in order to take the course online, click here to view them.

Online EMT Basic Skills Testing

 Our Online EMT Basic course requires a final skills assessment which must be coordinated with us through one of our approved EMT Basic EXIT SESSION sites located state wide.  The cost of the Exit Session is included in the Online EMT Basic Class base tuition.  These sites have hard dates set months in advance.  These dates are set based on student volume and availability and are subject to change.  For an additional fee we can schedule an EMT Basic exit session specifically for you. 

After completion of your Exit Session you will be allowed to begin your EMT BasicHospital and EMS rotations .   Currently clinical rotation sites are available Statewide.  Click on the hyperlink above for more information.  After successful completion of your field rotations you will be ready to take the National Registry EMT Basic Exam. 
 
 

Online EMT Basic CAST Marathon Course offered to all 50 States and Internationally as well

Our online EMT Basic course utilizes AAOS Emergency Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured, Ninth Edition as our primary text, although you may utilize any current EMT Basic text.  You may order our preferred textbook online directly from the publisher by clicking on the link. We also recommend that students have a variety of reference material. You can look at our Online Store for additional material that may be ordered and links to online reference material.
