EMT thru Paramedic Start to Finish

Percom offers you the opportunity to complete your Paramedic training online. While going through our course, you will be eligible to take the NREMT EMT Basic Exam, the NREMT Intermediate Exam, and at the conclusion of the course you will be eligible to take the NREMT Paramedic Exam. This approach allows you to begin working in the EMS Field while continuing your education towards your final goal.

Online EMT Paramedic A to Z Course

Hands on Skills Instruction and Testing

Our EMT Paramedic A to Z course requires Skills Practice Sessions and a Final Skills Testing Session which must be coordinated with us through one of our approved Final Testing sites located state wide. The cost of the necessary sessions to complete the course are included in the base tuition. These sites have hard dates set months in advance. These dates are set based on student volume and availability and are subject to change.

After successfully demonstrating skills competency, you will be allowed to begin your Hospital and EMS rotations. Currently clinical rotation sites are available throughout Texas. After successful completion of your rotations you will be ready to take the National Registry Exam.

Textbooks

Our course utilizes AAOS Emergency Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured, Ninth Edition as our primary text for the EMT Basic portion of the course and Nancy Caroline's Emergency Care in the Streets, Sixth Edition as our primary text for the EMT Intermediate / Paramedic portion of the course. You will also need supplemental Textbooks for 3-Lead EKG, 12 Lead EKG, and ACLS. We recommend Basic Arrhythmias, 6th Edition for a 3-lead Text, and The 12-Lead ECG in Acute Coronary Syndromes for a 12-lead reference. The only required texts are the ACLS Provider Manual and the PALS Course Guide which are distributed solely by the American Heart Association. Although these are our recommended textbooks you may utilize any current EMT-Basic and Paramedic textbook. You may order our preferred textbook directly from the publisher by clicking on the link. We also recommend that students have a variety of reference materials as well as textbooks by other authors.
