EMT Paramedic 2 Online

Class Description

Thank You for your interest in our Online EMT-Basic to Paramedic Course. This course is offered as a joint effort by PERCOM and Tyler Junior College.  We are proud to offer one of the most advanced courses available to our students. After completion of our course you will be trained and prepared to deal with all levels of emergency situations that a Paramedic would encounter in the field of EMS.  There are some prerequisites for entering PERCOM's Paramedic Course; you may view them here.  In addition there are system and software requirements that you should review.
EMT Intermediate students who received their training from PERCOM are eligible to enroll directly into our Paramedic 2 course.  After successfully completing Paramedic 2 the student will receive a course completion certificate from Tyler Junior College and will be eligible to take the NREMT Paramedic Exam.

  NREMT EMT Paramedic Certification

Our course is approved through Tyler Junior College by Texas Department of State Health Services and will allow graduates to sit for the National Registry of EMT’s Paramedic Exam.  This course is designed to meet and exceed the requirements for EMT Paramedic certification as set forth by Texas Department of State Health Services.  Students enrolled in PERCOM's Paramedic Course will be cleared to take the NREMT EMT Intermediate Exam by PERCOM after successfully completing the requirements of Paramedic 1 and passing the Paramedic1 Final Exam.
You are not required to take the NREMT Intermediate Exam to continue through the course; it is offered as a choice for personnel that want to practice at a higher level of certification while completing their Paramedic Course.  Students who successfully complete PERCOM's Paramedic course will receive a course completion certificate from PERCOM and be marked as eligible to take the NREMT Paramedic examination.
The Paramedic course is designed to teach the depth and breadth of the 1999 Paramedic National Standard Curriculum.  Revisions are currently underway to ensure that the program continues to exceed the minimum standards set by the National EMS Scope of Practice Model.
