System Requirements for Online Courses
In order to obtain the most from our course material we recommend the following minimums.
Processor speed of 1 Ghz.
Windows XP® or later operating system
Broadband Internet connection
WebCam, Microphone, and Speakers
(Course material may be viewed over dial-up connections, however some of the streaming videos are large and have a tendency to “time-out” before they finish. WebCam Microphone and Speakers are needed to take the Proctored Final Exam. If you do not have these you may consider purchasing them as a USB addon or borrowing a computer from a friend to take the final exam.)
The following programs are required to view course material. If you do not have them installed you may download them for free. Click on the links below to download the individual programs. These links will take you to the download site for each of the programs.
